In November 2010 the new session in the Blue House ‘Discover’ series was launched. Jointly inspired by the success of ‘Discover with your Child’, and her passion for working and training alongside domestic helpers in Singapore, Shona chose to launch an accompanied programme exclusively for domestic helpers and their ‘charges’.

Children are free to explore the beautiful environment at the school and be involved in provocations and experiences that have been set up weekly by the qualified teaching team. Your helper will be encouraged to be with your child when appropriate and also learn, with the guidance of the teachers, how to stand back and observe. Due to the nature of our unique programme, your helper will gain confidence and knowledge whilst at play and will in turn become a natural observer and learn how to translate these observations into new play experiences at home.
