Shona Sanosi, he director of the school, encouraged by the response and interest of parents about the Reggio Emilia philosophy launched the parent and child accompanied programme at school in 2009. This programme successfully combines Shona’s passion for parent education and the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

At the Blue House Nursery we believe in educating children for the future and that parent participation is fundamental in scaffolding that learning.

Through the ‘Discover with Your Child’ sessions, children will make real life connections as they explore the environment around them and forge solid foundations for all future learning. Parents, will gain a new level of understanding, become natural observers of their own children and in turn be able to extend on their child’s interest at home.
